The Directorate General Budget is one of two general directorates within the Deputy Ministry of Finance. The Budget Directorate is responsible for budget operations, planning and reporting, and financial analyses on proposed and actual legislation affecting the national budget of Afghanistan.
The workshop was planned based on the annual work plan of Directorate General Budget before the beginning of fiscal year. It was conducted on 4th and 7th of Saratan, 1393 in conference hall of DGB.
The employees of MoI, MoD,MoHE, MoE, MoCIT, MoEW, MoPW and MoPH attended the workshop on 4th Saratan, and the employees of MRRD, MAIL, MoEc,MoLSAMD, IDLG, Office of the President and IARCSC attended on 7th Saratan,1393.
The program started with recitation of some verses from Holy Quran by Shamsurahman Babakarkhail and Inauguration speech by Ziaurahman Halimi Director General Budget.
Flowingly explanation and general information about SBPS, usage of the system, information recording, comparing with BC2 spreadsheet, implementation of the recorded information and preparing reports from the system were presented to the participants by “Ali Abdullah Nabi” Database and ICT Manager of DGB.
KABUL--On July 24, the Aid Management Directorate at the Ministry of Finance began its 2014 Development Cooperation Dialogues (DCDs).
The DCDs are a series of high-level meetings between the MoF and all major donors in Afghanistan, which have been held each year since 2006. The purpose of the DCDs is to review achievements for each donor over the past year and to discuss upcoming areas of support so that the MoF can assess and monitor the activities of all donors operating in Afghanistan and help improve aid coordination in the country.

1393 National Budget Approved by WJ
Today-Welesi Jirga approved the national budget for the year 1393. The total budget for 1393 is 428.378 Billion Afghani, the operating budget is 280.472 Billion Afghanis and Development budget is of 147.905 Billion Afghanis.
Ministry of Finance appreciates all members of the parliament for their valuable views and considerations toward a transparent and comprehensive National Budget.
